Our team of developmental and cell biologists at the University of Freiburg is passionate about researching stem cell proliferation and differentiation in plant organ radial growth. We aim to decipher the processes behind plant protective barrier formation, striving to engineer plants that are more resilient to challenging environmental conditions.

We are part of the Freiburg Molecular Plant Science Community (DOMPS), which included 10 research groups. Our aim is to support early career scientists and to share our fascination about green life with events, symposia and seminars.
